all things eyebrows

One of my very first posts two summers ago on this blog was related to my eyebrows. It was a bit of an odd post, I'll admit, but I wanted to cover all the bases regarding how I feel about my brows. I know that they are a huge deal when it comes to an overall look, and they can make or break a pretty face. I was not blessed with a nicely shaped brow like some people are, and I am extremely self conscious of the little brow that I do have. I will reiterate what I have said before: I do not shave, or overpluck my brows. I was quite literally born with a larger-than-average space between my eyebrows, and I have received much criticism because of this. I get called names ("no-brows, albino brows" etc., as well as nasty comments about how I do not know how to leave the tweezers alone, etc.). You can imagine. I don't always enjoy posting photos on the internet because it eventually becomes a topic of conversation. I submitted a photo to a Tumblr blog a few years ago and got some hate mail about my eyebrows - of all things! Anyway, I think I've made my point. And I really desperately want some instruction and help on how to fix/help my look. I'm so envious of girls who can fill in a nice brow!

So this is my lovely face at the moment. I have an Avon brow pencil in "Dark Blonde" and an NYX Eyebrow Kit For Blondes. I wet a tiny angled brush, outline my natural brows in the powders in the eyebrow kit, and then sometimes go over with the pencil after. They are fine, but I am far too nervous to make them thicker and I'm worried they are a huge weak point. I love the look of more "painted" on brows, I can't really think of another way to describe them, but so many of you lovely bloggers do a fabulous job. This is new territory, and I would love to hear from you about products and directions to a nice, filled in eyebrow! If you've seen a good eyebrow post already on another blog, you can also point me in that direction.

I love you guys! And I'm so sorry I never post.
